Romantic DinnersDon’t know how to cook but want to make a romantic dinner?  You can still pull off a fantastic meal if you’ve never touched a spatula in your life.

Follow these easy recipes to make for a special night!

Dinner One:  Pork Tenderloin with Sweet Potatoes, Green Beans, and Rolls

Pork Tenderloin:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Put a Pork Tenderloin in a baking pan and rub the tenderloin with olive oil.  Sprinkle with paprika, garlic powder (or fresh chopped garlic), pepper and lightly cover with soy sauce.  Bake for 35 minutes

Sweet Potatoes:

Kroger has microwave sweet potatoes.  Go to the potato section and they are in clear plastic wrap. When they finish microwaving, cut them open and add butter and a few dashes of ground cinnamon.

Green Beans:

Get fresh green beans and the Ziplock steamer bags.  Cook according to directions on the steamer bag, then lightly pepper.

Rolls:

Dinner Two:  Beef Tenderloin with Baked Potatoes, Asparagus, Spinach Salad and Rolls

Beef Tenderloin:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.  Place Beef Tenderloin in a baking pan and rub with olive oil.  Mix 3 spoonfuls of horseradish sauce and 3 spoonfuls of deli mustard together and spread mixture over the tenderloin.  Salt and pepper the beef and bake for 35 minutes.

Baked Potatoes:

Microwave potatoes at Kroger.  Easy as that, and they taste just as good.

Asparagus:

Get fresh asparagus and cut off the bottom 2 inches.  Place in a metal baking pan and add light olive oil.  Add lemon juice on top of the asparagus and lightly salt and pepper.  Broil in the oven on low and watch until the asparagus gets crispy!

Spinach Salad:

Get fresh spinach leaves, cherry tomatoes, black olives and shredded mozzarella cheese.  Mix together and add your favorite dressing.

Rolls

Dinner Three: Lemon and Rosemary Chicken with Rice, Carrots, and Rolls

Lemon and Rosemary Chicken:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Place chicken breasts in baking pan and rub with olive oil and lightly salt and pepper.  Chop up fresh rosemary and sprinkle it on the chicken breasts.  Get a lemon and cut into slices, placing the slices on top of the chicken breasts.  Bake for 30 minutes, and make sure to check that there is no pink in the center of the chicken!

Rice:

We suggest yellow saffron rice, it’s incredibly easy, comes in a small portion bag, and is delicious!  Just find it in the rice section at the grocery and follow the directions on the bag!

Carrots:

Get fresh baby carrots and Ziploc microwave steamer bags.  Follow the directions on the steamer bag and lightly butter when they are cooked!
